Hello I am trying to use an external BlueTooth GPS device with  SkyDemon Running on Windows 10.  Tyhe BlueTooth virtual Serial port is setup correctly. I am able to open it with a standard Terminal Emulator on COM6 and data is received correctly from the device.

U‌nfortunalty, SkyDemon tries to open a COM with some chineese character at the end and fails..

‌

A‌ny idea on how to fix this ?

Can you show a screenshot of your settings screen in SkyDemon where you have nominated the COM port to use?

Yes .. Please see attached. as you see COM6 is listed but turns to this COM6<chineese> Stuff..
